6. Career-related website that i enjoy visiting

In my last post, I will tell you about my favorite website related to my career:  It's called NASA's "Eyes on Earth." It is a page that shows us all the space missions that NASA has to date. It shows us its most important events, contributions and information such as air temperature, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sea level, soil moisture, ozone, gravity field, among others. It is a didactic page, you can see an animation in real time where the satellites are around the earth, see their specifications and what information they can provide us. I frequently visit this page, at least 3 times a week, when I am working on remote sensing, I need to know what type of satellite is useful for a specific study of coverage in the territory. There are other pages for downloading information but I like this one a lot, because I feel that it can show the public how a satellite or radar looks and works, I hope you enjoy it. 馃槉馃洶

5. How can my major make the "World a Better Place"

The main axis of the career I am studying is the management of the territory, using engineering tools to be able to make better decisions when intervening in an area, generating the least possible (environmental) impact. Now, this is in general terms, as there are many edges that are taken care of in ecosystem variables. Such as conservation of flora and fauna, renewable natural resources, renewable energy production, water planning, atmospheric interaction, etc... Each of these topics is a world and requires a lot of preparation to understand the language of nature through physics. , chemistry and biology. My participation in making the world a better place is through Geomatics . Which is the science that deals with the management of geographic information through remote sensors and satellites. We are capable of modeling the coverage of a territory, understanding its biogeochemical cycles, land uses and vegetation states, to make better decisions when intervening ...

4. My fav dish in a pic

Hi again, today I want to make a mix of the topics for this post, I will tell you what is behind this very special photo. It was in January of this year, for my 25th birthday. That day with Catalina we visited different markets in Florence to get the best ingredients to cook my favorite dish “pasta all'amatriciana” Buonissimo. It is a simple dish, with few ingredients, probably not so good for your health, but incredibly tasty, the key is in the preparation, respecting the times and the main ingredient " Guanciale ". How is this wonder made? We start by cutting the Guanciale into small pieces, and put it in a pan over medium heat, without oil or water, just guanciale. We wait for that releases the juice that it releases the juice that will give us the flavor of our pasta. Then we take out the crispy pieces of guanciale and put tomato sauce, “pomodoro pasati”. In another pot we put the pasta to cook until a little before al dente. While the tomato ...
